Recipes Needed!

I still need ideas on how to use these items from the cabinets:

Chili seasoning packets (any other use besides chili)
onion soup mix (why did I buy this again?)
1/2 box of lasagna noodles
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
8oz can button mushrooms
chili beans (I should make chili but would like some ideas)
sesame seed oil
4 cans mixed veggies ( could get creative with green bean casserole)

What creative ways do you use these ingredients?

  1. Popping in from MPM, and saw this post. Maybe it will help, maybe not.

onion soup mix: my husband's family always made pot roast in the crock pot with green beans, onion soup mix and cream of mushroom soup. I bet he misses that stuff since I make roast with root veggies and none of the premade stuff

Mixed veggies: you can add them to meat loaf with little argument. Especially if you mash the veggies up, then mix it with the meat.

Lasagna noodles: make lasagna roll ups. Lots of recipes out there, vegetarian, chicken, beef, etc. You could find a chicken lasagna roll up recipe and use the chicken soup as part of the sauce

Sesame seed oil - I like to use it in home made hummus since its cheaper than tahini and has the same flavor.

As for the chili packet and chili chili? We don't really use either around here. Maybe make wet burritos with them? Or even making refried beans with the chili seasoning might work well.

    Good luck!
