Menu Plan Monday May 9th- 22nd


This week there are some good deals on meat at Fareway which will end on Monday night:
boneless skinless chicken breast $1.73/lb
80% ground beef sold in 10lb for $1.99/lb
arm cut boneless charcoal steak $2.99/lb
(I'm gonna ask the butcher about this cut because the name confuses me)
boneless pork ribs $1.99/lb
boneless sirloin pork roast $1.99/lb
whole boneless pork loin $1.99/lb 8-10lb average

My plans for the 10lb of ground beef:
2lb- double recipe of sloppy joes, one to eat and one to freeze
3lb- worth or burgers
2lb- meatloaf using a packet
1lb- crumbled for pizza topping and mac and cheese add in

And here is my menu plan for the next two weeks:
Tuesday- burgers, baked potatoes
Thursday- pork carnitas
Friday- pizza
Monday- steak, baked potato
Tuesday- sloppy Joe's, and tater tots
Wednesday- Greek orzo stuffed peppers
Friday- meatloaf and mashed potatoes
Sunday- turnovers and corn on the cob
