So this week I tried eating out. Friday night we went to a local chain restaurant and I ordered a steak with steam veggies and a Caesar salad. I cut the steak in half since it was a 6oz. The steamed broccoli I think also had butter on it, so that wasn't the best but it was so good. I should have asked for no croutons, but I just pushed those to the side. All and all, it was very good. The next day I weighed in about 1.2 lbs more. Saturday my family also went to a chain fast food place, I decided to just bring a bar and not eat anything. Sunday when we went out I ordered an egg beater omelet with mushrooms, onions, and spinach. It was so gross. It was not seasoned and the veggies were not cooked right. It was so disappointing. The good part was I was back down and able to record a loss this week.
My appointment with my coach is tomorrow and I will be getting my measurements redone. I was going to have them done last week, but they coach suggested I get measured by the same coach who measured me the first time since they could do it differently. Last weeks coaching wasn't that great. I think it is best to make sure to right down questions and concerns during the week because when you switch coaches week to week, they don't really know you or where you are at in your journey.
Tonight I have a banquet for my son and I know they will have pizza and pork sandwiches, then everyone will bring sides. I will bring a healthy side and I should be ok to have some pork. It just sucks to be surrounded by all this good food, and everyone else around you eating it.
So far I am happy with the process and that I am able to stick with the program. I kinda feel skinny, but I need to work on my stomach. I have tried to walk more at least and make my iwatch move goal and up it every week as well as getting my stand goal.
So far my average weight loss has been .36 lbs a day, 2.63 lbs a week. I'll take it.
